Josef Rozínek Borské Sklo Three Compartment Art Glass Bowl Czechoslovakia

A striking original Josef Rozínek three-compartment art glass bowl, designed for Borské Sklo in Czechoslovakia around 1960. This iconic Mid-Century Modern design is one of Rozínek's most recognisable works and remains highly sought after by collectors of Bohemian art glass.

Expertly crafted from heavy clear crystal with vibrant cobalt blue, emerald green and ruby amethyst sommerso colouring, the sculptural three-pocket form is both functional and decorative. Originally intended as a versatile household piece, it can be displayed as a trinket dish, catchall, decorative bowl, ashtray or elegant centrepiece.

The substantial weight, flowing organic shape and vivid colours make this a beautiful statement piece that perfectly reflects the bold design of the Mid-Century era.
