Chinese Famille Noire Millefleur Porcelain Bowl, Gilt Floral, 25cm

A richly decorated Chinese porcelain bowl with a millefleur “thousand flowers” design. Chrysanthemums and other blossoms cover the interior and exterior against a dark famille-noire-style ground, with gilt details, a scalloped rim and raised foot.

The underside bears an apocryphal Qianlong-style seal mark. The listing describes this as a later twentieth-century revival piece, not an eighteenth-century Qianlong bowl.
