Chinese Blue & White Dragon Sleeve Vase with Raised Relief, 29 cm

A striking Chinese blue and white porcelain sleeve vase, decorated with dragons and mythical creatures among stylised clouds and scrolling waves. The cobalt-blue design includes raised relief details that catch the light and give this tall cylindrical form a sculptural presence.

The base carries a six-character “Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi” reign mark. The eBay listing describes it as an apocryphal mark on a later decorative piece; it is not represented as Kangxi-period porcelain. The seller believes it dates to the twentieth century.
