A striking vintage Briglin Studio Pottery coffee pot, produced in London and dating from the 1960s-1970s. Briglin pottery is well known for its handcrafted earthenware and bold abstract decoration typical of the British studio pottery movement.

This piece features a tall cylindrical form with a matte black upper section, contrasting with a textured brown body decorated with a distinctive spiral wax resist pattern. The sculptural lid and curved handle complement the strong mid century design.

Briglin Pottery was founded in 1948 by Brigitte Goldschmidt and Eileen Lewenstein, producing hand thrown and hand decorated ceramics that have become highly collectible examples of British studio pottery.
