Samuel Walters Outward Bound Aquatint H Papprill Liverpool Maritime Antique

A beautifully presented maritime engraving, Outward Bound — Off the Rock Fort and Light-House, Liverpool, after a painting by the Liverpool marine artist Samuel Walters and engraved by H. Papprill. The scene shows a sailing vessel departing through choppy waters with other ships and Liverpool's waterfront in the distance.

Its atmospheric shipping scene, fine engraved detail and traditional timber frame make this a characterful piece for a study, hallway, library or maritime art collection. The names of the artist and engraver are printed beneath the image, together with the title.
