Art Deco Style Crystal Decanter Geometric Panel Cut Matching Stopper
A substantial clear cut-crystal spirit decanter with its original matching stopper. The body has bold square and rectangular panel cuts in horizontal bands, with deeper geometric cutting towards the base and a broad collar. Both decanter and stopper carry the matching number “72”, showing that they were fitted together.
The form is attributed to the Art Deco period, believed circa 1930s; the maker and exact date are unconfirmed. Approximately 25 cm high including the stopper, 9 cm base diameter, and 1.368 kg including the stopper.
Very good vintage condition with bright, clear crystal. No obvious chips or cracks were observed; light surface marks and signs of age are present. Please inspect the photographs, including the matching number detail.
